DNOW 2025: A Weekend of Faith and Boldness
This past weekend was truly a testament to God’s faithfulness! We are in awe of how He moved through our DNOW event and the impact made across Thomas County.
To our incredible volunteers: THANK YOU! Your love, dedication, and servant hearts were the foundation of this event. From planning to cleanup, you reflected Christ’s love every step of the way, and we are so grateful for you.
Saturday Outreach
Even in rain and challenging weather, over 100 students and 21 adult drivers boldly stepped out in faith, sharing the Gospel across our city. Apartments, shopping centers, gas stations, laundromats—no place was off-limits for God’s love to be shared!
One memorable moment took place at a laundromat, where a student engaged in a deep conversation about the Gospel. Through sharing his personal testimony of God’s work in his life, the student witnessed how real faith speaks louder than facts. What’s more, the encounter tied perfectly with our study of Acts the night before, reminding us how God’s timing is always perfect.
What stood out to us most was seeing students step into the role of being the church. This wasn’t just a weekend of learning—it was a weekend of living out faith boldly and unapologetically.
Equipping Students to Be the Church
This weekend was a powerful reminder that we are called to not just admire Jesus from a distance but to truly follow Him. As our speaker challenged us, the difference between being a fan and a follower is the willingness to step off the sidelines, sacrifice, and say, “Lord, wherever You go, I will go.”
To all the students, volunteers, and families: thank you for answering God’s call this weekend. Together, we saw firsthand how God takes ordinary people and uses them for extraordinary purposes. Let’s continue to be bold, to follow Him fully, and to shine His light in our community!
