Join Us for the 17th Annual New Orleans Mission Trip!

Every summer, for the past 16 years, we’ve taken a group of students on a week-long outreach adventure in New Orleans to serve the poor and homeless in the community. This mission trip is an incredible experience full of growth, connection, and the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Prayer is at the heart of everything we do on this trip. Students minister in small groups through street evangelism, serving people on the streets, under bridges, on Canal Street, in the French Market area, and on streetcars. We offer prayer, encouragement, and hope to tourists, workers, and those less fortunate. One of the highlights is the Independence Day festival on July 4th, where students serve by providing food, worship, prayer, feet washing, and free shoes to the homeless.

We stay at the Tulane Baptist Student Union and travel to New Orleans on a chartered bus. Once there, we rent vans and ride the Street Cars to help us get around the city as we minister. Each evening, we gather for worship, a devotion, and a special time to share and reflect on how God is working throughout the week. Meals are catered by JB Crumbs, brought with us, and warmed up each night so our team is ready to serve during the day.

Parents and students who’ve participated call this a life-changing experience, where discipleship meets action. Students are equipped at Building 229, D-Now Weekend, and Bigstuf, and this trip gives them the opportunity to step out and make a real impact in the name of Jesus.

This trip is more than a week away—it’s a chance to grow in your faith, serve others, and be part of a mission that has been transforming lives for over 16 years. Don’t miss it!
