About Us
Partnering with Families to Make Disciples
For more than 21 years, The Walk Youth Group has partnered with families to help middle and high school students know Jesus, grow in their faith, build meaningful Christian friendships, and discover how God can use their unique gifts to make a difference in the world.
We believe discipleship is more than attending youth group. It is learning God’s Word, walking alongside other believers, serving others, and faithfully living out the Gospel wherever God leads.
Our desire is to equip students to become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ who love God, love people, and confidently share the hope they have found in Him.

Our Mission
Helping students know Jesus, grow in community, discover their purpose, and become disciple-makers.
Everything we do is designed around these four priorities:
- Know Jesus
- Grow in community
- Discover your purpose
- Make disciples
The Greatest Need We See
Every student has a unique story, but we consistently see three foundational needs.
Jesus
Everything we do begins with the Gospel and points students toward knowing and following Jesus Christ.
Community
Students need authentic Christian friendships where they are known, encouraged, challenged, and supported as they grow in their faith.
Purpose
We want every student to discover the gifts God has given them and use those gifts to serve others, strengthen the local church, and make disciples wherever God leads.
These three priorities shape every Bible study, gathering, outreach opportunity, retreat, camp, and mission trip at Building 229.
More Than a Youth Group
Students don’t simply attend The Walk.
They learn God’s Word.
They build meaningful Christian friendships.
They discover their God-given gifts.
They serve others.
They share the Gospel.
They learn what it means to faithfully follow Jesus wherever He leads.
Our desire isn’t simply to help students have a great few years in youth group. Our desire is to help them become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ who will influence their families, churches, schools, workplaces, and communities for His glory.
