Thankful to Parents and Community - What We Teach

Posted on

We are so thankful for the parents and community who trust us with their students and support what God is doing here. Because of you, students have a place to gather every week to open God’s Word, talk about Jesus, and grow in their faith. Since school started in August, we’ve already met together 10 times — 9 in small group Bible studies, and 1 in local Sunday morning street evangelism.

On a regular monthly basis, we also give students opportunities to put into practice what they’re learning through local street evangelism. It’s a reminder that following Jesus is not only about studying His Word, but also about living it out.

Looking Back (Last Semester)

• Middle School: We studied real-life topics such as identity, friendships, and choices, always pointing students back to Scripture.

• High School: We studied the entire book of Revelation together, walking verse by verse and learning about God’s promises and His call to live faithfully.

Middle School (This Semester)

• We’re Better Together (Acts 2:42–47)

• Label Maker (Romans 12:2; John 3:16; 1 Peter 2:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17)

• Missions (Mark 1:17; Matthew 28:19–20)

High School (This Semester – Francis Chan in Romans)

Our high school groups have been focusing on the essentials of the Christian faith:

• Who is God?

• What makes humans unique?

• What went wrong?

• Who is Jesus?

• Who is the Holy Spirit?

• What is a Christian?

One Direction Across Both Groups

Whether middle or high school, the heart is the same: that students would be shaped by Scripture, pointed to Jesus, and encouraged by a Christ-centered community.

We are grateful for the chance to walk with students each week, open God’s Word, and watch Him do the real work of changing lives. Thank you for praying, supporting, and celebrating what He is doing in the next generation.
