Building 229 was full of life this past weekend as our middle school students filled the building with laughter, games, worship, conversations, and plenty of memories during our 9th Annual Middle School Lock-In!
Saturday night, our lesson focused on prayer and the question: If God already knows what we need, why do we need to pray? We talked about how prayer is more than asking God for things—it’s about having a real relationship with Him. Praise. Ask. Trust.
We’re incredibly thankful for Building 229 and for everyone whose generosity over the years makes weekends like this possible. Most of all, we’re thankful to God for another opportunity to point students toward Jesus and give them a place to grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships with one another.
