THE WALK YOUTH GROUP FALL KICKOFF

What makes The Walk different?

For 21 years, we have believed that youth ministry should be about more than students simply attending a weekly gathering.

We want them to become disciples who actually live out their faith.

Students come to Building 229 to learn God’s Word, grow together, ask questions, build relationships and be challenged in their faith. But discipleship doesn’t stop when they leave the building.

We give students real opportunities to go.

They serve. They pray with people. They share their faith. They meet people from completely different walks of life. They learn to see needs around them and respond with the love of Christ.

From Thomasville and Tallahassee to New Orleans, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City, our students are learning that following Jesus is something you live, not just something you talk about.

Last year, around 80 percent of our students said they had personally participated in some type of evangelism.

That is what makes this experience different.

We believe The Walk offers a unique discipleship experience that is difficult to find anywhere else. Students aren’t simply told to make a difference. They are given opportunities to actually do it.

If you are looking for a place where your student will be challenged to grow, serve, share their faith and become more confident in living for Christ, we invite them to join us.

Come experience what makes The Walk different.
