We’re excited to share that we just wrapped up our 19th year of ministry! This past semester was truly special, with record numbers, and it’s all thanks to your love, support, and encouragement. We give all the glory to God. It’s incredible to think that 19 years ago, we started this journey with students at Bigstuf, and tomorrow, we return once again. As we continue to grow, we need your help. Your financial support goes directly to our weekly Bible studies, Sunday events, mission...

We’re excited to share what your students have been learning in our Monday and Wednesday night Bible study sessions. This semester, we focused on reading the Word and, more importantly, putting it into action. Last night, we concluded by sharing stories from our mission trip to Los Angeles last week, where we mirrored Jesus and His disciples’ missionary journeys. We emphasized seeing and serving the unseen, just as Jesus did. This ties into His command to “go and make disciples of...

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who prayed for and encouraged us during our first mission trip to Los Angeles last week. This was our 30th mission trip in 19 years of ministry. We are grateful for the God-given opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to serve alongside the staff and volunteers at Serve LA. They have an incredible heart and vision for “seeing the unseen,” a motto they frequently use. We loved hearing them say to the guests we served,...

Today, I was outside the rescue mission and met a man named Ron. Originally from South Carolina, Ron had moved to San Francisco in the 60s because he believed he would be more accepted there. We had an engaging conversation for almost an hour about his adventures around the world. Ron had traveled extensively and had a wealth of unique life experiences. Although he didn’t delve into specifics, he mentioned that he had once been wealthy but made some poor choices that led him to struggle...

We’re immensely grateful to everyone who contributed to the phenomenal success of our end-of-semester celebration last month! A special shoutout to our San Francisco mission team, who inspired us with their heartfelt stories of compassion and inclusivity. It was amazing to hear how our mission team moved from hesitating to eagerly engaging with people they normally wouldn’t meet here at home. Some even prayed with a stranger for the first time! These experiences teach us the importance...

Inviting Impact: In 2010, Steve and Lori Rawlings brought their daughter, Sydney Ellen, to one of our youth events. Sydney Ellen introduced Grayson D. in 2013. Grayson brought her sister, Cassie, in 2014. Cassie introduced Maddie R. that same year, who then brought along Lauren R. In 2017, Lauren invited Myla S., who brought her sister Caroline in 2020. Caroline introduced Cash H. in 2021, and Cash brought his sister Giselle in 2022. Last year, Giselle brought Lucy L., who accepted Jesus as...

On our mission trip to San Francisco over spring break, we encountered stories that echoed the compassion and grace of Jesus. From the streets of the Tenderloin to conversations with individuals like L.L. and Ron, we saw reflections of people whom Jesus might have met and ministered to in the Bible. Just as Jesus showed love and forgiveness to the woman at the well and countless others, we shared moments of hope and acceptance with those we met. No one is beyond God’s love and forgiveness,...

In March, we had the honor of baptizing 20 students! We are overjoyed that more than 250 people witnessed this significant event. Additionally, during our middle school Bible study last Monday night, one student accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There is no greater joy than celebrating new life in Christ! “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the...
