D-Now Weekend 2026 - Abide
This weekend, we witnessed God move in powerful and personal ways. We are grateful to share that two students accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, reminding us why we gather, teach, and go.
On Saturday, 10 drivers took students across our city—into neighborhoods, hotels, laundromats, shopping centers, and grocery stores—meeting people where they were and sharing the love of Jesus through prayer, conversation, and presence. Outreach is one of our favorite parts of D-Now Weekend because it allows students to live out what Jesus commanded: to go and make disciples. This is how we become His hands and feet.
Students prayed with families, encouraged strangers, listened to stories, and shared hope. Some welcomed prayer right away. Others asked hard questions. Some just needed someone to stop and care. Every conversation mattered.
Throughout the weekend, we studied John 15:1–17, learning what it means to abide in the True Vine. We talked about false vines, pruning, obedience, and joy—and how real fruit flows from staying connected to Jesus. Saturday was not separate from the lesson; it was the overflow of it. When students abide in Christ, love goes public and fruit begins to grow.
We are thankful for every student, leader, and volunteer who served, prayed, and showed up. This weekend was not about an event—it was about following Jesus together.
