Los Angeles Mission Trip Story 2024 - It's Good To See You Again"

Los Angeles mission trip: What I love most is seeing the faces of these individuals light up when someone takes the time to listen to them. They are so grateful for the ministry’s work in LA. One man was particularly excited about the new showers, comparing them to a hotel experience and not wanting to leave. I also asked him if he had ever accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and shared how blessed we are to have Jesus in our lives. As he was leaving, he remarked that not many people around Hollywood talk about Jesus. This organization makes people feel special, pointing them to Jesus, which is truly what matters. They have an unwritten motto they seem to say to every person: “It’s good to see you again.” They make the homeless feel special, not just with a shower and a meal but through genuine care and knowing their names or introducing themselves as they would with anyone else.
