Senior Class - 149 Total Trips - 86 Separate Mission Trips and 63 Bigstuf Camps

Posted on

The seniors who have attended The Walk Youth Group over the past seven years have gone on 149 total trips—86 separate mission trips and 63 BigStuf camps—more than any class before them. Year after year, from 6th through 12th grade, they showed up, leaned in, and lived out the Great Commission.

Those 86 mission trips weren’t just numbers—they were distinct, intentional journeys where students said yes to serving others. That includes:

• 54 trips to New Orleans

• 12 to New York City (Brooklyn)

• 10 to San Francisco

• 6 to Atlanta

• 4 to Los Angeles

Each trip was a unique opportunity where they stepped out in faith to bring the hope of Jesus to people in need.

They didn’t just attend events. They became the hands and feet of Jesus—sharing the gospel boldly, serving strangers with compassion, and saying yes to God’s call again and again.

In a world that often looks inward, these students chose to live differently. As followers of Christ, we’re called to be set apart—and they’ve lived that out. They weren’t perfect, but they were faithful. They loved deeply, served boldly, and stood firm in their identity as God’s people.

They went to serve—but more often than not, they were the ones who received the blessing. We give God the glory—He worked through them to make a lasting impact. Their courage lit a path for others to follow, and we pray many will be inspired to follow their lead—and go.

We feel like very proud parents.

Well done, seniors. Well done.
