While our group was at Union Square in New York City yesterday, a woman approached us and asked if we were offering prayers. She shared that she was having a really frustrating morning at work and asked if we would pray for her.
She told us that she never steps away from work, but for some reason that morning, she felt like she needed to get outside, take a break, and find a change of scenery.
As we began praying for her, she started to cry. She told us that somehow she had ended up in the park with us, and she felt like we were the miracle she needed that morning.
What an incredible reminder that God is always at work! We may never know what someone is walking through or how something as simple as stopping to pray with them can make a difference.
Sometimes ministry isn’t something we plan. Sometimes God simply brings someone right to us.
