As The Walk Youth Group begins its 22nd year, we are incredibly grateful for what God is doing!
Already this semester, 154 individual students have attended, including 41 first-time visitors, and we’ve already had 11 days of ministry together.
More than anything, our desire is for students to grow in a real relationship with God, know His Word, live differently because of it, and boldly share the hope of Jesus with others.
Our high school students are walking verse by verse through Philippians, while our middle school students are learning how their faith applies to real life.
And we give students opportunities to put what they’re learning into practice. On Sunday, we once again did local evangelism in Thomasville, and in just a few weeks, we’ll leave for New York City on our 40th mission trip!
For 22 years, this has been more than a vision for us—it has been what God has allowed us to faithfully do year after year. Our history tells the story: students being discipled, God’s Word being taught, our community being served, and students being sent out to share Jesus.
