We were doing ministry along Canal Street in New Orleans when we saw a familiar face from last year, a man named Smitty, in a yellow shirt. He was preaching the Word of God with a bullhorn. As soon as he recognized us, he gave us all hugs, overjoyed to see us again. Last year, we listened to him to ensure he was speaking the truth, reciting the five verses from Romans. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated sport chairs for the homeless. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to distribute many chairs during our mission trip to New Orleans last week, giving them to those who had been sitting on crates, the ground, or pieces of cardboard. We arrived home from our annual mission trip to New Orleans last night and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their love, support, and prayers. We had 39 people join us on this trip, focusing on street ministry, sitting down wherever we went and loving people unconditionally.
