Another incredible day of local evangelism right here in Thomasville yesterday! We started by praying and asking God to lead us to the people He wanted us to meet. We spent time in neighborhoods, laundromats, local motels, and places we don’t normally go—simply slowing down, talking with people, listening to their stories, and praying with them. One of our goals at The Walk Youth Group is to equip students to become disciple-makers—not just by teaching them God’s Word, but by giving them opportunities to live it out. Our students don’t just go on a mission trip—they help make it happen. Again this year in New Orleans, because of your generosity, we were able to give away dozens of sport chairs throughout New Orleans. Many of the people we met had been sitting on sidewalks, curbs, milk crates, or cardboard. Time after time, they would pull the chair out of the bag, set it up right there on the spot, and sit down with the biggest smile on their face.
